The Val-D'Illiez Village Festival is back this summer and is full of surprises!
Two days of festivities packed with entertainment for everyone at the 46th edition of this regionally-renowned event. As part of the event, the Sentier de la Bière (Beer Trail) is also organized on Saturday, to delight epicureans and lovers of little suds.
Friday, July 25:
> From 7:00 pm, plunge into the retro ambience of the 60s and 70s for a colorful evening. Etienne and the Magnetos will open the ball, followed by Brice Simon accompanied by Ida Elena. The energy will rise to a crescendo, and DJ Nico will keep you going until the end of the night.
Saturday, July 26:
>Doors open at 11:00 am. Throughout the day, enjoy a varied experience: the much-anticipated Beer Trail reserved for the first 200 registrants, tandem paragliding air baptisms (fee, reservation on site), pellet rifle shooting sessions, and for the kids, a bike course supervised by instructors, not forgetting wooden games with Bernard, face painting, the bouncy castle and a few foosball tables.
As soon as you've worked up an appetite, our caterer "Les Contemporains" will tempt even the most gourmand among you! As tradition dictates, the official aperitif will be offered by the commune at 12.15pm. The Village Fete organizing committee will award the 2025 Honorary Villager prize at 5:00 pm.
There will be continuous musical entertainment, and the evening will end on a high note with a return to the 80s thanks to performances by Lord of Queen and Nostalgic Band. Weather permitting, you'll be treated to a light show by paragliders. And to round off this festive weekend: onion soup and all-you-can-eat sweet and savoury treats!
