Place du Tertre: compétition of the painters

Presentation
For this 18th edition, the theme chosen for 2025 is "Abondance Terre de Traditions". Exhibition and painting workshop for all.
Sunday, July 13 :
8:30 a.m.: Village hall - welcome to participating painters, breakfast provided. Checking and stamping of supports. Distribution of cold lunches in the morning or at 12 noon in the Town Hall.
9 a.m.: Free choice of locations in the area. All day long, the public can follow the artists as they create!
5pm: Competition closes. The works are placed in a safe place. From 5.30pm: exhibition and sale of the artists' personal works in the village square.
7pm: Under the covered market.
9pm: Convivial meal with painters wishing to take part.
Concert by l'Harmonie d'Abondance followed by fireworks on July 13
Monday July 14th :
9am: Resumption of the competition. Each artist can choose between the same location as the day before, or under the covered market with an exhibition of their work and the possibility of selling their own work.
12pm: End of competition. Cold lunch offered to participating artists. Until 3.30pm: Public Jury: all visitors can vote for their favorite painting. Professional jury with voting based on a points system. All the votes will determine the final ranking in the various categories.
4:30 pm: Prize-giving by officials and the Compagnie de Savoie. Bailliage du Chablais aims to "nurture among its members an ideal of solidarity, friendship and conviviality, and to promote traditional local values and the spirit of the Savoie region and the Alpine Arc".

In parallel, on both days, the Journées de l'Art (Art Days), where craftsmen and artists will be exhibiting and demonstrating various arts and crafts.
Activities :
Itinerary "stroll": on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., an itinerary around the painters' sites with animations will be proposed to you.
Musical entertainment: throughout the weekend.
Exhibition: on Sunday late afternoon and Monday, painters will be able to exhibit and sell their personal works.
