Presentation
From a very early age, Guy Angelloz was a member of the Notre Dame de Paris choir school, where he studied singing, piano and flute.
At the age of 20, he entered Jean-Pierre Rampal's class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he was unanimously awarded first prizes in harmony, chamber music and flute.
Winner of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Georges Cziffra Foundation, he became flutist with the Garde Républicaine symphony orchestra.
Guy Angelloz is invited to perform as a soloist in numerous concerts in Europe, the United States and Japan, where he is a regular guest.
Guy Angelloz's career has gone on to win such notable awards as the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation Prize, the Victoires de la Musique, and recognition from the Georges Cziffra Foundation. As a flautist, he joined the Orchestre symphonique de la Garde Républicaine, one of France's most prestigious orchestras.
Alongside his performing career, Guy Angelloz has also made a name for himself as a teacher, notably at the Schola Cantorum and the École Normale de Musique de Paris. He conducts several choirs, including the Ecce Cantus choir in Neuilly, the C.N.P. choir in Paris, and the 16 ! choir in Paris.
Each year, he devotes himself to conducting major works for choir and orchestra, and is regularly invited to perform as a soloist in concerts in Europe, the United States and Japan, where he enjoys international recognition. His career is an example of musical excellence, combining the technical mastery and artistic sensitivity that have earned him an international reputation.
