Presentation

Chalet Breithorn is in Chatel, approximately 500m from the centre of town although there is a restaurant and ski shop within 100m.
It is on the road leading down to the main skiing area and there is a bus stop 50m away with buses running frequently. It was built in 2019 and has been used by our family and by rental guests for fabulous holidays.

The Chalet is approximately 200m² s over two floors and a mezzanine. On the lower floor there are four bedrooms sleeping 10 people. One room is a double; two are either double or twin and there is bunk room for four people. All bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and three of the rooms open onto a balcony with views down the valley. There is also a laundry room with lots of drying space.

You enter the chalet through either the front door or the garage (which is also the ski room). There is a double height open kitchen, dining and seating space with tv and surround sound. There is a wrap around balcony with views up and down the valley. On the balcony there is a hot tub.

There is an open mezzanine space with beanbags, games, a TV and an x-box. We have lots of xbox games and DVDs. Both TVs have Netflix, Amazon prime etc.

Chatel is a charming mountain village on the Swiss French border in the heart of the Portes du Soleil. From here you can access over 600km of skiing during the winter or ample walking, cycling and other activities in the summer. If you are lucky you can ski back into the Chalet sometimes.

We rent the Chalet for between €2,000 in less popular weeks (e.g. mid January, mid-March, April and some summer weeks) and €5,000 in the popular weeks (e.g. New Year and mid-February). These prices include linen and cleaning at the end of the week.
