Join one of our mediators to explore Abondance Abbey at dusk. From the church to the cloister adorned with 15th-century murals, we'll shed light on this exceptional monument.

An unusual visit by moonlight! Immerse yourself in the history of this emblematic Chablais landmark on one of our nocturnal tours. Accompanied by an interpreter, you'll discover the church and its 19th-century trompe l'oeil decorations, then stroll through the cloister for an immersion in the landscapes of medieval Savoy, thanks to the 15th-century murals. Take advantage of the building's lighting to admire every detail of its architecture.

From the shores of Lake Geneva, access via RD22 or detour via Plateau de Gavot (depending on season), towards Vallée d'Abondance (approx.40 min).

Free parking, electric recharging points, bicycle parking.

Entrance to the site is at Place de l'abbatiale, in the heart of the village.
Access to the church is independent (no visits during services).

On foot: from the village center, walk to Place de l'Abbatiale along the “Montée du Cloître” past the town hall and presbytery, then under the porch. The entrance to the site, located on the square, is a little further up on the right.

Parking available at the entrance or in the village center.

Served by EVA'D line C during school vacations.
