Presentation

With his bamboo set, his Istanbul cassette player and astonishing performances, Dobran presents a show full of moments of tenderness, joy, sadness... humanity.

Dobran recounts his tormented family history. The circus tradition and music passed on by his grandfather Emilio, memories of the road with his brother Zork, their donkeys Zaskia and Boris... A time when performing circus acts was their way of standing up, of resisting.
Dobran needs height, suspension and balance. He loves to play with the audience, who hold their breath as he brings Zork back to life, climbing his mountain of crates, or running behind his indomitable diabolo... In a face-to-face encounter with his absent brother, Dobran tells us about their joys, exile and quest for identity. He makes us laugh and cry. Dobran has a thirst for life. He's no longer afraid. He's a free man.
