Ten authors who came to the shores of Lake Geneva for a few hours or a few years between 1754 and 1914: Voltaire, Rousseau, Germaine de Staël, François-René de Chateaubriand, Byron, Stendhal, Alexandre Dumas, Gustave Flaubert, Victor Hugo, Romain Rolland.
Exiles or refugees in Switzerland, they have taken up their pen and re-enchanted the world.

Lecture by Béatrice Peyrani, journalist and Ann Bandle,
president of the Cercle des amis du château de Coppet.

Organized in partnership with the Association pour le Développement Culturel d'Abondance and the Pays d'art et d'histoire pays d'Évian - vallée d'Abondance.
