Presentation

Stroll through the decorated chalets of the Christmas market in Abondance. Discover the magical world of Christmas and discover the artisans, Christmas decorations and local specialities of the Vallée d'Abondance. Chritsmas Father will come and visit us!!

Stroll through the decorated chalets of the Abondance Christmas market. Discover the enchanting world of Christmas and discover the artisans, Christmas decorations and local specialities of the Vallée d'Abondance.

Around 50 exhibitors in 21 wooden chalets: a host of Christmas-themed craft stalls, home and table decorations, wooden objects, gifts, comic books...
A gourmet market: oysters, shrimps, Berthoud STG, snails, tartiflette, crêpes, waffles, homemade soups, bricelets, mulled wine and Christmas tea, wines... And many other products to discover, take away or consume on site.

Entertainment on both days:
- Photo session with Santa Claus: meet at Santa's House at 4pm under the covered market on Saturday and Sunday.

- Grand jeu de l'objet insolite (unusual object game): an object has crept into the Christmas market, there are several of them hidden on various stands, but they have nothing to do with the products sold by the exhibitor. It's up to you to find the exact number! Form to be collected from the Abondance d'Evénements stand or the Tourist Office.

Storytelling for children:
- Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m.: Storytelling and snack at 3 p.m. offered by the Micro-Crèche le Manège Enchanté (register at the crèche stand).
- Les contes du Grand Lutin: meet at Santa's House under the covered market at 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

- Miss and Mister Noël de la vallée d'Abondance contest for children and adults: dress up as Santa Claus, an elf, a reindeer, a Christmas man...and become Miss or Mister Noël 2024 of the Vallée d'Abondance! Take a photo of yourself and send it to us at communicationabondance@orange.fr.
Prize-giving ceremony on Sunday at 3.30pm!

- Yule log contest*: let your imagination guide you as you bake the most beautiful Yule log! Competition results on Saturday 25 at 3:30pm. On your spatulas! Registration at communicationabondance@orange.fr

- 2 wish trees: Choose the color of your ribbon and hang your most precious wishes on one of your trees! Profits will be donated to the EPHAD de Vacheresse to provide entertainment for residents.

- Game on offer at the Tourist Office stand, with lots of prizes to be won: Abondance ski passes, Maison du Fromage Abondance and Abbaye tickets...!

Sale of season ski passes at PROMO prices for Abondance and the Montagnes d'Evian at the ESF chalet.
