  • Naïve New Beathers - Concert OFF

Meet at the bottom of the Foilleuse slope to enjoy the last rays of sunshine and listen to live bands specially selected for a successful after-ski.
Recorded between Paris and Los Angeles, Fun Hours sounds as spontaneous as it can be, but it took more than two years of work from David Boring (vocals), Eurobelix (keyboards) and Martin Luther BB King (guitar). During the tour of the previous album, A La Folie, the band decided to concentrate on their energy to take, here and there, a week of break dedicated to writing new songs. "The composition was done without pressure and with the positive mood of the concerts," says Eurobelix. There have been fewer concessions between us, who usually have different musical tastes, or, in any case, they have been easier." After more than ten years in the band, the three musicians are more united than ever. Their secret? An unbelievable friendship. "Brotherhood, according to David Boring. We always try to keep the group as one person. We're friends with him!" This passion for cultivated music was cultivated by the trio as early as their high school years. Since a first EP as playful as it is enthusiastic, Bang Bang (2007), the trio has kept its promises publishing Wallace (2009), La Onda (2012) and A La Folie (2016). The fourth newcomer, Fun Hours, is the next logical step: "we took the essence of our strongest songs and put aside the hardest or most saturated ones," comments Martin Luther BB King. We wanted groovy basses, dry guitars, without amplifiers, for a direct sound and without artifices. Although very produced, Fun Hours had to be primary, effective, dynamic, it's a colored candy that sticks to your teeth... you don't get rid of it that easily.
